Norfolk Terrier
Norfolk Terrier?

Does anyone have one of these dogs? Can you tell me anything special about them? We are considering resucing a 3yr old neutered male Norfolk tomorrow. Just wanted to know, if there was anything about this breed I should know. I’ve been reading about them online, but thought I would check with people who actually own one. Thanks a bunch!
Believe it or not bredforquality

Pure bred animals Do end up in shelters, and rescue groups, for various reasons. Just the other day I was at one and there was a Sphynx (sp?) cat there, in need of a home. FIFTY dollar adoption fee, for a cat that breeders sell for atleast 1000.

I have owned & shown Norfolks in the past & the most important thing I can tell you about them is HIGH energy. Make that REALLY HIGH energy. All terriers were originally hunting vermin (rats, mice, etc) and are very exciteable.
This is a good thing if you like being entertained by your dog. A bad thing if you want a dog who just lays around.
They also tend not to get along well with dogs of the same sex as themselves.
On another note – Norfolks are absolutely adorable little dogs.
