Where in the world can I find a Pyrenean Shepherd (Berger des Pyrenees) puppy?
I’ve fallen in love with this particular breed given what I’ve read about it, but it seems next to impossible to find. I live in the UK and, although there is a breed club, I still have not found any active breeders. Is it so rare a breed that I should give up the search, or does someone out there know how I could make this happen? Many thanks.
if this is the breed of dog that you have decided upon, start talking to people within the breed club. ask questions. they will know where to get them, how to train them, and they also may be able to help you decide if that breed is really right for you. Best of luck. chances are that that breed of dog is very primitive, and may need A LOT of socialization and training. I feel that contacting the breed club would be your best option.
