What types of dogs leave the least amount of hair on clothes and the floor?
I am interested in eventually buying a dog. However, i hate when dog hair gets on my clothes and all over the floor. What types of dogs are less likely to shed a lot and/or get hair all over my the floor and my things? I’m very interested in dogs such as Siberian Huskies, Dobermans, Labs, etc.
The shorter the coat the more the dog will shed. Dobes and Labs are high shedders.
Huskies were bred to live in arctic temperatures. . . they shed a lot.
The least shedding breeds will be the ones whose hair grows infinitely long, such as Poodle, Bichon, Shih Tzu, etc.
Also, you haver your hairless breeds such as the Chinese Creasted and Mexican Hairless, etc.
Maybe you could consider the Portugese Water Dog, Curly Coated Retriever, or maybe even a Terrier of some kind.
